The Stokke® Beat™ is a compact, lightweight urban stroller created for families who want full functionality without the bulk of a traditional pram. Launched in 2019, it was designed with city living in mind, offering smooth manoeuvrability, a slim profile and practical features that make it easy to navigate crowded streets, public transport and small living spaces. The Stokke® Beat™ was launched as the successor to The Stokke® Scoot™, as it featured a similar one-hand folding mechanism while acting as the affordable compact option within the Stokke® strolle portfolio.
Despite its compact form, the Beat™ provides a surprisingly comfortable seating environment for the child. The seat reclines using a belt mechanism, allowing adjustments from upright to completely flat, making it suitable not just for children above 6 months, but also newborns when kept completely flat. All textiles, including the canopy and seat fabrics, are fully removable.
Besides the seat itself which can accommodate newborns, the Stokke® Beat™ can also be paired with its dedicated Carry Cot, which is suitable from 0–6 months. The carry cot attaches parent‑facing only and is engineered to fit the stroller flawlessly for added stability and protection. The general recommendation would be to use the dedicated Carry Cot for children up to 6 months instead of the seat, purely for comfort and ergonomic reasons. For parents who prefer to use the stroller seat from early on, accessories such as the Stokke® Softbag or Stokke® Stroller Infant Insert offer extra support, comfort and breathability for younger babies.
The Beat™ is compatible with a wide selection of Stokke® accessories, allowing parents to adapt the stroller to seasonal changes and individual needs. These include the Stokke® sibling board, cup holder, rain cover, mosquito net, footmuff, all‑weather inlay and softbag. The Beat™ can also be used with several Stokke® car seats without the need for any adaptor, or with 3rd party car seats by using the CSA Multi adaptor accessory.
