Originally launched in 2018, the Stokke™ Munch™ collection includes 4 products that can be used during mealtime. All the products are easy to maintain, as they are microwave and dishwasher safe and are made of durable food-grade materials to ensure the child does not get in contact with anything harmful.
The collection includes the following products:
- Bib
- Cup
- Cutlery (spoon & fork)
- Plate
- Bowl (discontinued)
The products can be used along with the Stokke® high chair collection, though items like the Cup would also fit into the corresponding Cup holder accessory on any Stokke® stroller, as well as the discontinued Snack Tray accessory which was previously available for the Xplory®, Trailz™ and Crusi™.
The Bib is designed in a way which allows to catch any food that may escape its target, making the clean-up after mealtime easier and less messy for the parent. It is adjustable to comfortably fit around the neck of the child.
The Cup has a very narrow horizontal hole which prevents liquids from dripping out if the Cup were to be dropped by the child, though this may depend on how forceful the drop is. In order to drink through the small narrow hole, it requires the child's mouth to interact with it, as any pressure applied in this area will allow for liquids to pass through. The Cup has a small vent hole on the opposite side that allows air to pass through to enable a pressure balance, so the child can drink freely without interruption due to an internal vacuum.
The Cutlery and Plate complete the collection, allowing the child to have a complete dining experience.
