The JetKids™ BedBox can be used with dozens of airlines, and even though many airlines also specify this on their websites, there are also several that do not explicitly mention their policies surrounding this. The list of approved airlines on our website includes those airlines that have explicit policies surrounding BedBoxes, as well as those that users have generally not had any problems with when it has come to usage onboard.
It is important to distinguish between possible usage of the BedBox and cabin luggage restrictions - it is possible that while BedBox usage onboard is permitted, the BedBox might not fit the dimensions of free-of-charge cabin allowance and users may be charged extra to be able to bring it onboard. It is important to always check any resources about such details on the airline website prior to booking your flight, to know what to expect. If details about BedBoxes or free-of-charge cabin luggage dimensions are not available on the airline's website, it is best to check with the airline's support team directly, to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Even if the BedBox is brought onboard, the cabin crew always has the final say of whether or not the BedBox functionality can be used on the flight, as this may be dependent on the expected conditions of the flight, such as turbulence. Additionally, the BedBox can only be used on seats which are positioned in a way that does not obstruct movement of any other passenger.
If you were not able to use your BedBox onboard due to any of the above, while this is an extremely frustrating experience, it is not possible to return the BedBox for a refund. The BedBox remains usable on future flights with several airlines that allow this, as long as the required airline and cabin crew conditions are fulfilled.
