There have been several car seat adapters launched by Stokke® over the last few decades which have allowed non-Stokke® car seats to be attached to Stokke® strollers, or in case of the Stokke® YOYO®, allowing the corresponding car seat to be attached to the frame.
The historic list of car seat adaptors include:
- Stokke® YOYO® Car Seat Adapter M
- Stokke® YOYO® Car Seat Adapter L
- Stokke® Stroller Car Seat Adapter Multi (discontinued and no longer available)
- Stokke® Stroller Car Seat Adapter for Peg Pérego (discontinued and no longer available)
- Stokke® Xplory® Car Seat Adapter for Graco Snugride (discontinued and no longer available)
- Stokke® Stroller Car Seat Adapter for Chicco (discontinued and no longer available)
The YOYO® Car Seat Adapter M is only available in Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, Russia and South America. The YOYO® Car Seat Adapter L is only available in Central and North America and Australia.
While older adapters were often designed to be compatible with specific brands or car seats, newer adapters such as the YOYO® Car Seat Adapters are compatible with multiple brand car seats, though full compatibility information can be found on the product page on the Stokke® website, as the list is always kept up to date on the product page.
It is important to understand that the list only shows compatible car seats. If the car seat you are looking to use is not listed on our compatibility list, please know that no information is being kept secret and Customer Service is not able to assist with questions about compatibility with car seats that are not found on the compatibility list. If it is not on the list, it is due to one of the following reasons:
- Tested & not compatible
- Tested & physically fits, but not approved because of various safety issues or due to scratches and/or other damage caused to the frame or car seat during regular usage or removal
- Not yet tested because it is too new
