The Tripp Trapp® Chair seat and/or foot plate, depending on the age and size of the user, can be placed in one of the first 5 grooves. The seat heights for these grooves are the following:
- 1st groove: 56,5 cm (highest possible)
- 2nd groove: 53 cm
- 3rd groove: 49,5 cm
- 4th groove: 46 cm (recommended as foot plate position for adult seating)
- 5th groove: 42,5 cm
The Tripp Trapp®, as well as other Stokke® chairs such as the Clikk™, Steps™ and Nomi™ are meant to be used with tables that reach between 72-76 cm. However, to be able to push the Tripp Trapp Chair underneath a table with the Baby Set and Tray attached, it would require 73 cm of empty space between the floor and the table. The exact angle is also dependent on how correctly the Chair has been set up - this may be higher than 73 cm if the Chair has not been set up correctly, as the seat plate should not exceed 7 cm in depth. Incorrect usage and assembly can lead to damages which the warranty does not cover.
